Sygic navigation for Taxicabs

It may sound strange but on the official site of Sygic recently a blog post appeared on the website, about Taxi navigation that Sygic provides. Where is it happening? How didn't I hear about it? Well it's actually in Milano, Italy where it helped at large scale over there mostly because of their complicated traffic system and then not all, but certain Taxi Cabs got Sygic up in their vehicles and went off on the road.

Future with Sygic in every car and a cab?

Are we on to something here,  are all cabs gonna use Sygic as their go to go software for their clients and them self. While we talk about uses today the team at Sygic did a Ice bucket challenge and it was really awesome from their side.

You can check out the video above, they also said they made a donation to the ALS foundation which is amazing of them as we said before. We also show support for such events and organizations. Sygic is really important cause it's a part of everybody lives, actually not everybody but every drivers life who has it installed on his phone or a car. We linked to wikipedia and their official site in this post so make sure to check it out also.

For Android and iPhone

As you know already, atleast we hope you know Sygic is available to two most popular mobile OS/ platforms: Android and iPhone (or iOS). With this kind of availability everyone can use Sygic app on their phone, even your whole family, doesn't matter if you have iPhone or Android cause when you go on trip all 5 of you or more can use the navigation system just in case.

We added a whole picture of the app in use on Samsung Galaxy, actually the picture is taken on the road and the apk was downloaded from this website without any problems of any sort. If you were wondering how many people use Sygic it's actually amazing figure for a unknown company at the time the application went out to the public. The actual figure is more than 50 000 000 which we find astonishing achievement.

The best feature and probably the most popular is the offline use of this navigation system, so when you take that into consideration it's not really unusual it has so big user base number, nearing almost Google+ numbers when you look at active users.

Sygic observation

For those of you who didn't know, Sygic is something that is made in Slovakia and has been a proud at that as the most popular GPS app in Europe and probably worldwide.

Main pro of Sygiy is it has turn-by-turn voice for your car or any other to go place vehicle from work to home or other way around.

There is a support for more than 30 languages including Greek, Spanish, English, Russian and other. There is a big chance your native language is in here. Intuitive user interface, fast rendering and route calculation are also some of the best parts of Sygic when comparing to other applications so that's probably why you are using this app on your smartphone as opposed to other ones.

New App from Sygic

Speedometer, a new app from Sygic company. You are familiar with them probably cause you want to download their Sygic apk from our web site. So what is this new app we are talking about here? Firstly, it's called Speedometer. That might give you a hint of its meaning and function.

Have you ever got in trouble by cops on the road simply because road sign was hidden in the bush of some sorts or behind a tree and you stepped over your limit? If you did, then this app is for you. If you didn't it's still for you as long as you are a viable driver.

Sygic CEO about this said:
“Speedometer by Sygic is ideal for commuters who want to focus on the road, instead of where cameras may be hidden. We’ve already seen a huge demand for the app on Android,”.

Features Speedometer has are listed below:

· Alerts for 55,000 speed traps and red light cameras worldwide

· Alert other drivers about nearby cameras with the touch of a button

· Track trip stats including time spent in car, average speed and distance traveled

· Set custom speed limit alerts in the app

Sounds like something promised from them to us drivers around the world. From India to USA where Sygic has most of it's customers.
